Dave is a Director of Baker Street Properties and specialises in Commercial Leasing and Sales and Tenant Appointments. With over 30 years of experience in the Cape Town Commercial Property market, he is a respected specialist in his field. Dave is a member of the SAPOA Western Cape Council, SAPOA National Research Committee and has chaired the Cape Town Office Vacancy Panel for the past 18 years. As well as advising national companies on their leasing requirements, Dave is often appointed by international companies to source and negotiate commercial premises on their behalf in Cape Town. Dave is a keen golfer and member of Royal Cape Golf Club.
John is a Director of Baker Street Properties and specialises in Commercial Leasing, Sales and Tenant Appointments. John started his career as a property broker for Richard Ellis in 1987 and during this time also completed a Diploma in Property Management and Development. In 1997 he joined Baker Street where he holds the position of Operations Director. John has maintained strong working relationships with the top companies in the country and is highly regarded as a specialist in the industry. John has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys mountain-biking, sky-diving and hunting.
Steven is a commercial property specialist focusing on the Cape Town CBD and Southern Suburbs. Steven has a strong logistics background, holding a Bcomm Honours in Logistics Management from Stellenbosch University. Steven also completed a two-year postgraduate diploma in Property Studies at the University of Cape Town to further his knowledge of the property sector. With this valuable expertise, Steven advises his clients with the relevant market knowledge in order to find the best possible solutions to their property requirements. Steven is an outdoor enthusiast - playing golf, surfing and trail running.
Claire has over 10 years of real estate experience in both the residential and commercial sectors. Her experience in consulting clients on leasing and sales across two industry sectors enables Claire to offer a multi-disciplinary approach to real estate strategy and solutions. She currently takes ownership of commercial leasing services in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs, where she maintains an excellent network of relationships in the industry. Claire's focus on ethical business and prompt service adds to her reputation in this important property node of Cape Town. Claire holds a competence NQFLevel4, STC Real Estate Sales Training Course and CPMD certificate in Commercial and Industrial Brokerage.
David has been involved in the Retail Property Industry with Baker Street Properties for over 15 years. He is a highly regarded specialist in Retail Leasing for institutional and private Landlords, and in facilitating Retail Developments in the wider Cape Town area. David has been successful in building key relationships with many of the national retailers and advises them on their location and leasing requirements in the Western Cape. David has many hobbies including fixing up classic cars and fishing.
Alexi is a commercial property broker specializing in the leasing of office space in Cape Town's central business district or city centre. Prior to his current position, he worked in the import/export industry in the delivery of niche producst from South Africa to Zimbabwe, and moved to Cape Town to study marketing management. His sound negotation and sales skills adds real value to any transaction. Drawing on the experience of running his own business, Alexi values good communication with the focus on building long term relationships with his clients. Alexi’s hobbies include swimming, kite surfing and five-a-side soccer.
Lloyd is an Alternate Director of Baker Street Properties and specializes in industrial leasing and sales in Airport Industria, Epping, Elsies River, Beaconvale, Somerset West and Strand. Lloyd has been in the commercial and industrial property industry for over 35 years and has a wealth of experience and knowledge in all property disciplines. He has completed a variety of qualifications including a Wits Commercial and Industrial Diploma, Various SAPOA courses and the EAAB's NQF L4 and L5. Lloyds hobbies include hockey, golf, hiking and cycling and enjoys time with family and friends on the weekends.
Dylan is an Industrial Property broker who specialises in Paarden Eiland, Montague Gardens, Killarney Gardens, Racing Park, Atlas Gardens, The Stables, Atlantis and Saldana Bay. Dylan is a highly driven individual who strives to service both Tenants and Landlords with utmost professionalism. He is a specialist in his chosen areas and is constantly gaining more knowledge of the market in order to better consult his clients on their property needs. Martin is an Industrial Property specialist servicing the areas of Parow Industrial, Parow East, Triangle Farm, Sacks Circle, Bellville South, Saxenburg Park, Brackenfell, Okovango, Kraaifontein, Wynland Industrial, Kuilsrivier, Blackheath, Paarl, Fisantekraal, Wellington and Stellenbosch. Martin obtained a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Management from the University of Stellenbosch Business School after spending two years working overseas. He has had hands on experience in transportation and logistics as well as project specific installations for the telecommunications industry. Martin uses his technical knowledge from his working background to better understand his varied industrial client's needs. He believes that honesty is essential to maintaining lasting relationships with clients and strives to always work with this philosophy in mind. Martin is a keen rugby player and Cheetahs supporter.
Andre is an Investment specialist at Baker Street Properties and is involved in Commercial, Industrial and Retail Property Developments and Investment Sales. Andre is a seasoned property specialist with 30 years Commercial and Private Banking experience. During this time he spent more than 25 years specializing in Commercial Property Finance. Through longstanding relationships with high profile property clients in the private and listed sector, Andre has built up a wealth of knowledge in the Western Cape Property market. Andre loves travelling with his family and has experienced some wonderful holiday destinations around the world. His favourite destination is Thailand where he gets his batteries recharged before coming back to follow his other passion – Commercial Real Estate.
Cliff has over 24 years’ experience in Commercial, Retail, and Industrial Property Management and Leasing and currently oversees the newly formed Baker Street Property Management company in partnership with John McMahon and Baker Street Properties. Cliff has a strong knowledge of the Cape Town market and has good relationships with property owners and property brokers. Cliff enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing, and body boarding.
Gideon is the Operations Manager of Baker Street Property Management. Using his superior technical knowledge and skills, Gideon maintains a variety of properties in our property management portfolio. His focus on proactive problem solving and customer service ensures for good client relations, which is evident from his great people and communication skills. He has worked in a variety of industries and has a broad knowledge of different business types and environments. Furthermore, Gideon also obtained an international certificate from NEBOSH in Occupational Health and Safety. Gideon enjoys family time, 4 x 4 activities and camping.
Adalaide is the Office Manager and has been with Baker Street for over 11 years. Amongst other things, her duties include staff management, office automation, co-ordinating company events and assisting Senior Management
Stacy completed her Certificate in Interior Design at Damelin College and has several years' of experience in the Hospitality Industry. Stacy is responsible for frontline Reception and administrative functions for the company. Stacy is also responsible for our online media content including our website and social media platforms.
